On 13 November 2007, during the Midas Group gala dinner, it was announced that Spanjaard Limited had been awarded the Midas Supplier of the Year title for 2007. The criteria for excellence included: a supplier that is capable of supplying quality, technology, leadership, delivery, market competitive price and illustrates continuous improvement in service delivery to the Midas Group.
